If you need to find a center pin size, remember the micrometer reading divided by 2, minus 5, gives the center pin size number.
For example: If your micrometer reads .055 on the center pin, make that a whole number (55). Dividing by 2 equals 27.5. Subtracting 5 equals 22.5. The center pin you are holding is a number 22 ½.
(Pin measurement as a whole number / 2 ) - 5 = Pin Size Number
The next time you spill your center pins all over the place you can place them back in your center pin holder accurately!
