Upright Dolly Installation

Many institutions benefit from the increased mobility a dolly allows on upright pianos. Dolly installation can be a simple process with the right tools, and is a great addition to your piano services. Upright dollies in the U.S. can be purchased from Schaff Piano Supply (product number 4009). Upright dollies are called “twin” dollies because they consist of two individual dollies that make a set. Twin dollies come with two sizes of casters; the 2 ½” casters are appropriate for smaller uprights, 48” or less, the 5” casters are appropriate for larger pianos over 48”.
